Just when I thought things were getting boring, the internet swoops to the aid of my malnurished attention span.

Hot off the press, hackers have attacked the Liberals website!

As NEWS.COM.AU reports…

THE Liberal Party website was hacked this morning to make Prime Minister John Howard appear to enjoy engaging in a lewd homosexual act.

It is even funnier because it’s in inverted commas, like he is actually saying it…

But the Liberals added to the hilarity when their spokesman said..

“It appears to be a hoax, but we’re checking it out,”

That is one for the scrapbook! The internet and it’s citizens are certainly no friends of Mr Howard.

I wonder if they are going to try and pin this one on a Labor connection.

This was not the first time that liberal.org.au has been attacked.

During the 1998 Federal Election campaign, a Labor Party employee was linked to the hacking of the Liberal’s website where many links led to pornographic content.

The hacker also wrote derogatory comments about several Liberal frontbenchers on the site.

At the time, the attack was described as Australia’s first “electoral cyber warfare” incident.

What they need to understand is that you don’t need a special membership or connection to hate John Howard, it’s now a mainstream past time and an Australian way of life.

Well I guess the Govt’s “Safe Internet” package missed a few important features…

If it was Rudd’s site it would add to his ‘human appeal’ and more people would claim to want to vote for him.

I’m sorry, why is that considered a “lewd homosexual” act? Is it “lewd” when women perform it on men, or only when it’s THE OMG GAYS?

The sad thing is, Howard will probably lock up the person who did it under the new terrorism laws.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they did it themselves to drum up advertising and send people to their website - after all any publicity is good publicity as they say oh and we can just blame it on those supposed union loving labour thugs…

Grow up! This is negative stuff and looks bad for Labor too actually. I thought school was back? Anyway, I have been very disappointed in Labor over the last few months and I think Kevin Rudd was good option for PM. But there have been a couple of things lately that really ask the question, why?

How pathetic, haven’t they got anything better to do with their time?

Disgusting politics again. Labor are starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel here. I thought they were better then that. But are now just resorting to the same negative and desperate game that we don’t want to see. I am getting sick of it.
