Sheldon: Electoral Enrolment and Laziness

Well unlike Brad who seems to have plenty of time to waste buying junk from the Kevin07 website, some of us have to live out in the real world and earn money for a living. Unfortunately this means that you have to put up with more of Brad’s propaganda than my sensible, well articulated (big word) arguments. I’m actually banging out this post in the ten minutes I have before I head off to work. And to make this somewhat relevant, the company I work for actually scans the electoral forms that everyone sends in round this time of year… which makes it hell for us. Just so you know: don’t enrol, less work for me.

I have to say that I’m in favour of closing the electoral rolls when the election is called. If you’re too stupid to realise that an election has been coming up for the last six months and can’t be bothered to fill in a form, well than you deserve not to be part of the democratic system. I see it as form of intelligence test and if you can’t pass it, you don’t vote. Brad is willing to pander to the lazy and the stupid, but I’d prefer not to.

Hmm, do the Liberal Party sell any merchandise? I’d actually buy some and wear it when I’m around Brad to bug the hell out of him. Although, there’s always the risk of beat-downs if you’re in someway related to the Liberal Party. I remember the Painters and Dockers Union (I bet about two people got that reference).

Anyway I’m off. My next post will probably be from a net kiosk at a little used shopping centre. No doubt I’ll be inspired by the atmosphere.

BRAD: IT’S CHRISTMAS IN OCTOBER

Well it doesn’t surprise me to see me once again holding the fort on The Donkey, but that is fine by me, it just means less propaganda from Sheldon and more facts and truth from me.

Sheldon is going away for a week soon, I am really looking forward to that. Mostly seeing his face when he returns and sees what I’ve done to the website.

I shouldn’t be left unattended.

Well I was doing the rounds on my favourite websites and I see there is some brand new Kevino7 merchandise available on http://www.Kevin07.com

So I ordered some new stuff. I got…

 A couple new Kevin07 t shirts.

Three more large bumper stickers.

Now this is where it gets exciting! Brace yourselves!

Kevin07/Labor car flag!

Kevin07 balloons! We can use them for our Election night party.

Anyway I sent away my enrollment update to the AEC.

Today I plan to work on some assignments but also head into the city and buy some stuff. Comic books and a new Nintendo game are on the menu. I’ll be using a computer lab but in between all the work, I’ll do a recee and test shots for some future vids and ride around the city on my bike.

The latest hoohar up here is Daylight Savings. Well I am delighted to see Queensland Premier Anna Bligh say no to the ridiculous concept. Look the foundation of my arguement against daylight savings centres around the repulsive idea of me having to get up an hour early. Get stuffed.

If people are so concerned with saving light, shouldn’t we have daylight savings in WINTER when the sun sets at 5:30 instead of 6:30?

The highlight of yesterday was seeing Kevin Rudd on TODAY. It was tough stuff having to watch 90minutes of that morning garbage television to see 5 minutes of Ruddness, but worth it.

Highlight of today, Chasers War on Everything and Summer Heights High on the ABC!

Ah shit, that was on yesterday! I thought it was Wednesday. God damn it!!!
